INTRODUCTION: |
The above comprises a series of short articles created to make essential Biblical truths concise and easy to read. For those seeking a more in depth understanding, there are expanded studies available on this website.
Based on recent statistics, the average online reader will view less than two pages on any given subject. This may be due to the huge volume of information available on the internet and/or the fact that our modern lives are very busy, and time is of the essence. This scenario was prophesied to occur at “the time of the end” (of mankind’s governance over this planet): But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book (of prophecy) until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase (Dan. 12:4; NKJV used throughout unless otherwise noted; Ed. note in parenthesis; emphasis added). So just before God intervenes directly in world affairs, many people will have access to rapid forms of transportation; combined with an exponential amount of information. The latter does not equate to “Godly wisdom”. Instead, it describes the sheer volume of information available just prior to Christ’s return. Following Christ’s return, there will be an extended period of time during which everyone will learn God’s truth accurately, ….He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths. For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem (Isaiah 2:3b). For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14). Currently, even those who claim to know God rarely teach His truth accurately, or completely. This situation will change dramatically in the future, No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more (Jeremiah 31:34). The first article in this series will deal with the creation of a spirit-being who became known as Jesus Christ. As we will see, he is separate from his heavenly Father and has the freedom to choose everlasting life, or everlasting death; just as every human being has, See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, 16 in that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments… (Deuteronomy 30:15-16a). |
For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And, His commandments are not burdensome (1John 5:3).
“It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’” (Matthew 4:4b).
